• Synchronising the host computer server with a Sigma Mod master clock or any NTP server on the Internet. The host server will in its turn synchronise the workstations of the computer network.

• Synchronising our NTP clocks with an existing NTP server when the latter cannot work in Multicast server mode.

• Synchronising our NTP clocks even if the Sigma Mod master clock or the existing NTP server is located in another network segment and without changing settings in the router.
